Non-Profit Management Experience

Ann Arbor Summer Festival (Educational Outreach Intern) 

March 2018 - July 2018
  • Educational Outreach intern for the annual non-profit arts festival that draws over 80,000 individuals each season
  • Programmed 21 KidZone events every night of the festival in partnership  with Ann Arbor community organizations, attracting upwards of 400 individuals nightly
  • Facilitated workshop for community educators in partnership with Australian theatre company Polyglot
  • Directed an environmental sustainability game show in partnership with the Ecology Center
After Catastrophe 
April 2013 - Present
  • Founded organization to assist families affected by natural disasters in developing countries, particularly in order to help ensure access of education to child victims
  • Organized and performed at a benefit concert in United Arab Emirates, Music 4 Charity, and raised over $1500 for victims of Pakistan floods in 2013
  • Organized a book drive in partnership with Kumon, collecting over 80 pounds of books for Nepal school-children affected by the earthquake

Miss Kim Korean Restaurant (Server and Hostess)

  • Greets and serves patrons, showing them to their tables and taking orders in a 150+ seat restaurant

Kumon (Math and Reading Tutor)
March 2016 - August 2017
  • Instructed up to 20 students at a time (between ages 2 and 15), assisting with all levels of Kumon math and reading programs (including early learners, aged 2-5)
  • Designed study plans for individual students according to age and level, and helped ensure their progress through the levels
  • Assisted with administrative work, restocking shipments of new worksheet packets, organizing files of individual students, checking progress of students, and grading tests and worksheets.

Theatre
September 2010 - present
  • Started the first theatre program at International School Choueifat Al Ain
  • Directed performances with cast sizes ranging from 4 to 35 people of all age levels
  • Served as an elected board member for Phoenix Theatre Company for two years

Mosaic: Multicultural Performance Ensemble
